Investment: “Safahat.ai raises $590,000”
Safahat.ai, a Turkey-based legal technology startup that develops AI-powered tools to automate end-to-end legal operations, has raised $590,000 in a pre-seed round led by Insha Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Fonu (Insha GSYF).
The round also includes participation referenced from CoFunds Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Fonu, and Safahat.ai will leverage Insha Ventures’ strategic growth, technology, business development and fintech ecosystem experience as part of the investment.
Safahat.ai develops an AI platform tailored to Turkish law and the Turkish legal language that brings enforcement tracking (icra takibi), litigation processes and contract management into a single system. The platform supports bulk file management and petition generation from case opening through attachment stages, analyzes case files, tracks processes, generates and reviews contracts, and performs risk analysis. It distinguishes itself by using AI not only for content generation but also for file classification, prioritization and work distribution to automate high-volume legal operations.
The product can be deployed on-premises to meet institutional data security requirements, enabling banks, financial institutions and heavily regulated sectors to process legal data without it leaving the organization. The solution also offers bi-directional integration with internal systems and is designed to shift legal professionals away from repetitive operational tasks toward judgment, control and decision-making activities.
Safahat.ai said the investment will be used to scale its product and business model, benefiting from the investors’ strategic and technological support as it advances its fintech-related positioning and pursues expansion to markets such as the UK and Gulf countries.
“We believe Safahat.ai has significant growth potential. Legal teams today need to manage rising workloads more efficiently, and in high-volume matters speed, data security and correct process management are crucial. We value that Safahat.ai addresses this need with technology developed specifically for Turkish law and legal language. As Insha Ventures, through Insha GSYF, we aim to play a strategic role in Safahat.ai’s fintech transformation and to help lead the development of next-generation financial services with our fintech expertise,” said Hasan Sami Bayansar.
“With this investment, we aim to begin the legal sector’s digital transformation from Turkey and elevate it to a global standard. At Safahat, we build an AI-based platform that enables end-to-end automation of legal processes. By unifying enforcement tracking, litigation and contract management in one ecosystem, we intend to significantly reduce the operational burden of banks, law firms, public institutions and corporate clients. Our differentiator is an AI infrastructure built on Turkish legislation and case law that produces verifiable outputs without hallucinations, together with an on-premises deployment model that meets our clients’ data security needs. We are also developing the same technology for the UK market and continuing work for Gulf countries. With strategic investment and technology support from CoFunds and Insha GSYF, we aim to rapidly take this technology developed in Turkey to global markets,” said Ahmet Necip Arslan.
