Investment: Oraseya Capital opens funding pathway for 7 digital startups
Oraseya Capital, a venture capital fund, in collaboration with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, organised a dedicated pitching session that created a direct pathway to potential funding, mentorship and growth support for seven Dubai-based technology startups. Oraseya Capital manages an AED 500 million (approx. USD 136.14 million) technology fund and is offering access to its SANDBOX Investment Program as part of the initiative.
The collaboration is designed to give early-stage technology companies investor feedback and a structured route to progress through Oraseya Capital’s evaluation process. Strategically, the partnership aims to connect startups with capital and expertise, improve investment readiness, and expand the channels through which Dubai’s tech companies can access markets and funding.
The pitching session featured Arakan, which provides digital tools for compliance and corporate requirements; Duno, which develops operational intelligence technology to help lenders assess SMEs; YOUNEA, which enables businesses to deploy branded AI agents across voice, chat and WhatsApp; Riayatech, focused on HealthTech solutions for healthcare operations and patient journeys; Avelin, which provides sovereign AI deployable via cloud, on-premises and air-gapped environments; SENSI, developing digital scent and sensory technology under an “Internet of Fragrances” concept; and Cogniver, which uses autonomous AI agents to automate organisational workflows and business processes. Following the pitches, the startups received feedback on requirements for the next stages of Oraseya Capital’s evaluation process, and several advanced to the subsequent phase where they may access the SANDBOX program.
Oraseya Capital’s SANDBOX Investment Program targets technology startups from pre-seed through Series B and offers potential investments ranging from approximately USD 150,000 (AED 550K) to USD 3 million (AED 11M). Beyond capital, the programme provides mentorship, investment readiness support and access to Oraseya’s broader startup ecosystem to help participating companies scale and enter new markets.
