KAVIA AI, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an enterprise software engineering platform for complex codebases, closed its Seed financing. The amount was not disclosed.
Backers included Tata Elxsi.
Led by founder and CEO Labeeb Ismail, KAVIA AI offers an enterprise software engineering platform designed for complex codebases. The solution features a branch-aware Enterprise Knowledge Graph that grounds specifications, code changes, tests, documentation, and reviews in shared system knowledge across repositories.
The system brings intelligence into developer workflows through a Visual Studio Code extension and CLI, with tools including Spec Builder, CodeWiki, and multi-agent workflows for planning, testing, review, and modernization.
The company intends to use the funds to advance the platform, expand enterprise deployments, and increase customer control over infrastructure and model choice.
