The Turkiye Green Fund, established with World Bank financing under the guarantee of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and with TSKB as its anchor investor, has completed its third investment with a $10 million injection into medical supplies manufacturer Disera. Managed by Maxis Private Equity, this capital-increase transaction also marks the fund’s first investment in the healthcare industry.
Disera will deploy the newly acquired capital to accelerate its green transformation strategy—focusing on reducing its carbon footprint, adopting renewable energy sources, enhancing production efficiency, and optimizing water and waste management in line with Türkiye’s 2053 Net Zero emissions target.
Strategic Alignment on Sustainable Growth
Operating production facilities in the Tire Organized Industrial Zone in Izmir, Disera manufactures blood collection systems and laboratory consumables under its Vacusera brand, exporting to more than 80 countries. The company’s existing investor base includes private equity fund Azimut LCP I.
Commenting on the investment, TSKB CEO Ozan Uyar stated that the Turkiye Green Fund continues to mobilize private capital for climate finance while driving sustainability across local manufacturing. Disera CEO Kenan Deniz Büyükakman noted that the partnership will reinforce the company’s export growth while substantially reducing its environmental footprint.
