Salesforce acquires Listen Labs
Listen Labs is an AI-powered customer research platform that provides AI-driven market analysis for brands. Salesforce has been in talks to acquire Listen Labs for around $2 billion, according to people familiar with the matter; those discussions have not been finalized and could still fall apart.
Listen Labs’ platform serves clients including Anthropic, Google, and Nestlé. If completed, the deal would follow a recent wave of large AI-sector acquisitions and would align with Salesforce’s push to bolster its AI capabilities, particularly around enterprise agents.
Listen Labs was cofounded by Alfred Wahlforss and Florian Juengermann in 2023. The company was last valued at $500 million in a financing round earlier this year, and its backers include Sequoia Capital, Ribbit Capital, Conviction Partners, Pear, and Neo.
Salesforce’s potential acquisition is intended to strengthen its AI strategy and enterprise-agent offerings as the company seeks to expand its AI capabilities.
