Investment: “VideoGen raises $3.3M”
VideoGen, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI video creation platform, has raised $3.3M in Seed funding in a round led by Y Combinator.
The round included participation from Rebel Fund, Lobster Capital, Stretford End Capital, Mento VC, Pioneer Fund and Decacorn VC.
Led by CEO Anton Koenig, VideoGen provides an AI video platform whose agents work with users through structured workflows to create fully editable, copyright-free videos. The solution turns briefs or uploaded media into editable videos with reusable assets, offering realistic AI voiceovers with over 200 voices in 50+ languages, one-click translation and developer tools including a Text-to-Video API and MCP integration.
The company serves over 5 million users across more than 190 countries, from individual creators and small businesses to teams at Fortune 500 companies.
VideoGen intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
