Investment: “telMAX raises $215M”

telMAX, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of 100% pure fibre internet, TV, and home phone services, raised $215M in funding.

The financing included a $105M structured investment from funds managed by Hamilton Lane, alongside a $110M credit facility provided by Power Sustainable Infrastructure Credit (PSIC), Palistar Capital, and MidStar Capital.

Led by CEO Michael Strople, telMAX designs, builds, and operates its own end-to-end fibre-to-the-home network engineered for speed, low latency, and reliability for residential and business customers. The company provides high-performance fibre connectivity built to support next-generation demands.

It serves multiple communities across Ontario, including Barrie, Brooklin, Stouffville, Newmarket, Aurora, Markham, Oakville, and Richmond Hill.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate network construction, scale its teams, and its go-to-market strategies.
