Investment: Guardio raises $40M
Guardio, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of a consumer cybersecurity platform, raised $40M in funding at a $1.1B valuation.
Backers included Wiz co-founder and CEO Assaf Rappaport, along with existing investors ION Crossover Partners, Union Tech Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, Cerca Partners and Emerge Ventures. The raise brought Guardio’s total funding to $167M.
Led by CEO Amos Peled, Guardio delivers person-centric consumer cybersecurity designed for the age of AI. The company’s platform monitors messages, email, calls and web activity to neutralize modern AI-driven threats such as phishing and complex scams, shutting down attacks before a user opens a link and safeguarding digital accounts and assets across multiple devices and channels.
Guardio intends to use the funds to enhance and strengthen its suite of protection for consumers’ total digital presence.
