Flow Engineering raises $50M Series B at $750M valuation

AI startup Flow Engineering has raised a $50 million Series B round at a $750 million valuation to expand its hardware design software, with the round co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Atreides Management. Sequoia Capital also participated, and former Sequoia partner Roelof Botha joined as an angel investor and board member.

The company said its customers include Anduril, Rivian, Joby Aviation, General Motors PPU, RV Tech, Stoke Space, and others. Flow Engineering is bringing AI agents to hardware design to help automatically align CAD drawings with product requirements, simulation results, and other testing.

Flow Engineering is a three-year-old startup based in San Francisco. The company focuses on software for hardware design and says its AI agents are intended to make hardware iteration as fast as software. Its platform is designed to connect CAD work with requirements, simulations, and testing so engineering teams can move faster through the design process.

The article notes that Sequoia led Flow Engineering’s Series A round last October. No other prior funding details were provided.

Flow Engineering said the new capital will support its efforts to make hardware iteration faster and accelerate the company’s growth.
