Arcanus Aerial Systems raises $500K
Arcanus Aerial Systems, a Toronto, Canada-based developer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems for defence, public safety, and critical infrastructure customers, raised $500k in funding. Yazan Al Homsi made the investment.
The company offers over 15 platforms across heavy-lift, ISR, cargo, strike, and counter-drone missions, including the AB 516e long-endurance aircraft, AE 401 counter-drone interceptor, and AC 5250 cargo platform. Its platform serves clients in defence, wildfire detection, search and rescue, Arctic sovereignty, border and maritime patrol, and pipeline and power line monitoring.
The company intends to use the funds to support its ongoing development and domestic production of unmanned aerial systems.
