Acquisition: “NEURA Robotics acquires ADLATUS”
NEURA Robotics is expanding its Physical AI ecosystem to include autonomous cleaning. NEURA Mobile Robots is acquiring 100 per cent of the shares of ADLATUS Robotics from Ulm, an established provider of autonomous cleaning robots.
Following the recent expansion of its portfolio with the Bosch Rexroth ACTIVE Shuttle, the acquisition consolidates NEURA’s aim to bring diverse robots and applications onto a shared Physical AI infrastructure, transforming the intelligence of individual machines into a scalable platform.
ADLATUS has been developing autonomous cleaning and sweeping robots for industry, logistics, healthcare, and commercial and public spaces for years. The company has hundreds of systems on the market, its own navigation software, and extensive knowledge of real-world cleaning processes. David Reger is the founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics and Andreas Lindemann is Managing Director of NEURA Mobile Robots.
NEURA will equip ADLATUS systems with additional sensor and AI capabilities and gradually integrate them into the Neuraverse. This will enable cleaning robots to move beyond predefined routes to increasingly understand their environment: recognising different surfaces and types of soiling, interpreting situations, selecting appropriate cleaning strategies, and learning from real-world applications. The Neuraverse enables the integration of diverse AI models, sensor data, and capabilities, transforming a specialised autonomous device into an intelligent actor within a larger Physical AI ecosystem.
ADLATUS will also benefit from the NEURA Group’s production expertise, international sales network, and technological platform, while contributing in-depth industry knowledge, established customer relationships and many years of real-world cleaning experience. NEURA and ADLATUS have collaborated in a strategic partnership since September 2025, with their first joint public appearance at CMS in Berlin. NEURA says it plans to integrate these solutions into its Fleet Manager, expand mobile robotics beyond traditional material handling, and establish ADLATUS as a core component of its AMR portfolio with its own product family.
