Hybrid-casual puzzle game developed by an Istanbul studio, Pixel Flow has closed a seed round with participation from Akın Babayiğit and e2vc. The amount of the investment was not disclosed.
Led by founders Kübra Gündoğan and Emre Çelik, the Pixel Flow team developed the game at a studio based in Istanbul. Gündoğan, previously known for Twisted Tangle, and Çelik guided the project from concept to release.
Pixel Flow is a hybrid-casual puzzle game that entered the US App Store Top Grossing chart within the top 25 roughly three months after launch. According to the company, the title delivered strong revenue performance during that period, reaching daily figures in the millions of dollars.
The founders said they view Pixel Flow not as a standalone release but as the first step in a broader product approach and plan to expand the project with new games and initiatives supported by the fresh capital.
“The game’s unconventional mechanic helped it stand out in a market with relatively limited innovation,” said Akın Babayiğit.
“Pixel Flow is the result of a long-term effort on an original mechanic and the first step of a product approach we plan to expand with new projects,” said co‑founder and CEO Kübra Gündoğan.
