Tulip, a Somerville, MA-based provider of a frontline operations platform, raised $120 million in Series D funding led by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.

Tulip provides a Frontline Operations platform that delivers an AI-native, no-code solution with edge capabilities to connect the people, machines, devices and systems used in operations. The company supports manufacturers including AstraZeneca, Richemont, Stanley Black & Decker and DMG Mori across industries such as general manufacturing, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, labs and warehousing, and maintains offices in Munich, Budapest, Singapore, Tel Aviv and now Tokyo.

Natan Linder, CEO of Tulip, said the partnership is grounded in a common vision: people remain the most critical element of manufacturing. Rather than replacing workers, the aim is to empower them with new capabilities through practical AI. He emphasized that platforms should be designed with operators and engineers as the primary users, adding that this collaboration will support the development of modern, trust-based operations focused on continuous improvement.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
